Attention Please!
As of April 2012, the Janey Ensminger Act H.R. 1742 has been stalled for almost a year. The person at fault is Representative Jeff Miller of Florida.
This is an excerpt taken from an interview of Jerry Ensminger on C-SPAN on April 1st, 2012:
ENSMINGER: H.R. 1742, which is the Janey Ensminger Act, was turned over to the House Veterans Affairs Committee. The current chairman of that committee is a Representative Jeff Miller from Florida and he's been sitting on the Act since. He would not even allow the committee to consider it.
And several weeks ago, on a Friday before a whole week's recess for President's Day, he puts out a press release and writes a letter to General Shinseki asking him to please consider awarding some of these benefits to veterans and their families, and he cited a $3 billion overage in the V.A.'s budget.

Heartbreaking Odyssey
A heartbreaking documentary and amazing odyssey of Master Sergeant Ensminger and others on their quest to uncover the truth about water contamination on Camp Lejeune, what happened to them and their families, and see to it that this never happens again. Not sure what is more shocking: What happened then, as recently as 1987, or what happened during the filming of this documentary. As a former Marine, I am conflicted about this kind of story, as I'm sure most Marines are. We all want to be 100% loyal to the Marine Corps. On the other hand, what happened is so wrong, on so many levels, it needs to be acknowledged and cleaned up. Master Sergeant Ensminger is a hero as good as any for bringing this to the attention of so many, and a tremendous advocate for all those who suffered needlessly. I believe this documentary is a must see for any Marine, especially any Marine who was ever stationed at Camp Lejeune. I only hope that we can learn from this tragedy so that it is never...
Fantastic Movie
I was very suprised how well this movie was done. A must see for every american.
Some parts are very emotional and speak to the heart. Highly recommended.
