Venetians head to London!
Have you ever bought a DVD that delivered EXACTLY what you were expecting? It's a good feeling, huh? Well, that's what CHEEKY did for me. I bought it for a surplus of nudity, and that's what I got! In addition, the movie is also a lot of fun and has some comical scenes in it.
Yuliya Mayarchuk is absolutely stunning as the main character (Carla). She travels from Italy to London where she plans to wait for her boyfriend to arrive. Along the way, some mis-understandings lead to a thrill ride of sexual mis-adventures. Mayarchuk is nude thru most of the movie, which is just fine w/me. Sometimes there's no particular reason for her to be naked, but she is anyway. That's just fine w/me too! She is absolutely adorable.
In this day & age when it seems like the whole world is falling apart, DVDs like CHEEKY are extra-important as they form an avenue of escapism. If you want a movie that is full of mindless fun and lots of gorgeous naked women, then this one...
Cheeky - Erotica from the Master - Tinto Brass
Cheeky, released in Europe by the name Trasgredire, is a good name for this farcical romp because there is a strong emphasis on cheeks. Women's that is and not the facial kind.
The feature opens with our heroine(?), Carla (Yuliya Mayarchuk) briskly strolling though Hyde Park, observing amorous couples in various states of passion, (something I seem to miss on my jaunts through a park) when a typical flasher opens his trench coat and exhibits his faux penis to Carla. Was she shocked? Did she run? No, she smiled and lifted up her flimsy miniskirt and a flashed her beaver back at him. In a way it was funny as it was meant to be but it gives you an idea about the inanity of the movie.
The Plot
Carla has moved from her home of Italy, for some undisclosed reason, to London. Her boyfriend Matteo (Jarno Berardi) is supposed to join her and she needs to find somewhere to live. She encounters a real estate agent named Moira (Francesca Nunzi) a lesbian who...
Uneven film, very erotic at times, but flawed nonetheless
Director Tinto Brass has a very real admiration for the female behind which makes his films enjoyable to watch if you share this attraction. And in this particular film he adds a girl-pursues-girl element which I especially enjoyed!
Basically, the plot centers around beautiful blonde Carla (Yuliya Mayarchuk) who moves to London and needs to find a place to stay. Sexy older woman Moira (Francesca Nunzi) develops an immediate attraction for the pretty younger girl and seduces her. This was nice, but I thought the groping was somewhat clumsier than it needed to be. There were several brief scenes involving Carla and Moira, and they were the best parts of this film.
The rest of the plotline was mostly forgettable. The Italian-to-English dubbing was so-so at best. I only wish Tinto Brass directed more scenes involving women seducing other women.
